This collaboration has become the flagship project of a region in Alava that offers increasingly complete and personalised services, full of enthusiasm for a job well done. Here, you can enjoy a wide range of wineries and their wines and a cuisine faithful to its roots, rich in pulses and vegetables from the Alava countryside, together with meats, sausages and desserts based on traditional popular recipes.
Rioja Alavesa has adopted the quality charter drawn up by the Spanish Association of Wine Cities (ACEVIN) and the Department of Tourism, as well as the criteria defined by Basquetour in Euskadi Gastronomika. We adhere strictly to the requirements established by these organisations. Furthermore, since January 2006, we have been part of the select "Wine Routes of Spain" Product Club as a CERTIFIED route.
