The name Moreda comes from the presence in the place of trees or brambles that give as fruit mulberries. The toponym is an evolution of the romance of the Latin word moreta.

This village highlights its streets, squares, and small squares you can transport you to the XV and XVI centuries, admiring its emblazoned houses with good facades of masonry and accompanied by the murmur of the fountain of the three pipes in the Calle del Rollo.

Next is the Parish Church of Santa Maria, with its outstanding baroque altarpiece and paintings. In addition, its Trujal offers visits where the process of transformation of the olive into liquid gold is taught.
