We innovate without losing our deep connection to the land, offering an authentic experience for wine and wine tourism enthusiasts.

Bodegas Luis Alegre is a winemaking project that brings together origin, character, and innovation in the heart of Rioja Alavesa. Since the beginning, distinction and the pursuit of excellence have defined our identity. We cultivate our own vineyards in a privileged setting at the foot of the Sierra de Toloño, where calcareous soils with saline and ferric influences give our wines their unmistakable personality.

Our circular-shaped winery was designed to work by gravity, optimizing every stage of the process with a focus on sustainability, efficiency, and hygiene. This layout allows for minimal intervention, preserving the true essence of each vineyard plot. We are committed to microvinification and the use of materials such as concrete vats, flex tanks, and clay amphorae—blending ancestral methods with cutting-edge innovation.

Luis Alegre is a small winery with a bold ambition: to craft honest, precise wines that remain deeply rooted in their origin. From vineyard to bottle, every detail matters—reflected in practices like the manual packaging of wines such as “Finca La Reñana,” and in our ongoing respect for the winemaking heritage we proudly uphold.
