El Fabulista

The El Fabulista winery is located in the heart of Laguardia, a medieval town surrounded by vineyards and a rich cultural heritage.

Buried seven metres underground, beneath an 18th-century mansion, our wine cellar and its wines owe their name to one of the estate's most prestigious residents: the fable writer Félix María Serafín Sánchez de Samaniego, the star of our dramatised ‘fable’ tours.

The El Fabulista Winery is located in the heart of the Laguardia’s villa and it is buried seven meters deep under a 17th century palace. It owes its name to the writer Félix Mª Samaniego, most prestigious inhabitants of the palace. The Winery is an exceptional opportunity to penetrate the secrets of the more than 300 underground caves that run through Laguardia. The Fabulist is presented as a family and historical winery that tells its story through the guided tours, the tasting of their artisanal wines, and it is the best framework to enjoy a cocktail or a special event. Let the attendees engage in a direct dialogue with history and literature.
