Bodegas Solar Viejo was founded in 1937. Its name comes from the "Casas Solariegas" - emblematic stately homes that rise within Laguardia / Biasteri and where Solar Viejo was first made. The new wine cellar is located at the foot of the spectacular Sierra de Cantabria.

The combination of fine grapes, traditional methods and use of new technologies enable it to offer top quality wines.

In the course of the visit are revealed the secrets of the wine making process at Solar Viejo, and two of its wines are tasted in the bodega's function room.
