Our goal at La Venta de Ostatu has been to create a comfortable atmosphere that conveys calm and serenity with a degree of elegant sophistication while, at the same time, evoking our personality as a winery.
A palette of natural colours and materials and the interplay of light is reflected in the flowing spaces, the organically shaped surfaces softened by shadows, and the craftsmanship built into the design in collaboration with local artisans.
Carefully selected materials, such as clay, natural fibres and oak, anchor the project to the site and reflect the essence of the surroundings, capturing the vineyards to the south and the majestic Toloño Mountain Range to the north.
Every corner has been carefully designed to achieve a balance between functionality, beauty and comfort. The design criteria apply not only to space but also to the attainment of well-being and the pursuit of sustainability; hence, the apartments have a high degree of energy efficiency in keeping with the heritage value of a seventeenth-century inn.
