  • Church of San Juan Bautista.
  • Festivals on September 8 in honour of the Virgin Mary.

Kripan is crossed by the medieval pilgrims routes that run through the Toloño Mountain Range. Around the village one can still see remains of the old road, possibly of Roman origin, lined with large slabs of stone.

Inside the village, the noblest buildings are found in an open space in the Plaza de la Barbacana. The 17th-century church of San Juan has an early baroque altarpiece. On the outskirts of the village you can visit the Los Llanos and Encinal dolmens.

A good option is to visit the park of the Nacedero, a meeting place for hikers. The village is also good place to start the ascent to the chapel of San Tirso, protected inside a large cave high up in the Sierra de Cantabria mountains.
