Bodegas Baigorri

Bodegas BAIGORRI were designed by the architect, Iñaki Azpiazu. It is a building that adapts to the surrounding terrain and the entire production programme harmoniously takes place underground, where gravity takes centre stage, allowing the grapes to reach the fermentation process without damaging them and where the entire production process is developed vertically.

A place that provides, from any point, a didactic overview of the winemaking process during the harvest season.

The winery consists of an empty glass box that leads underground in 7 levels. The sixth level features the Restaurant, a vaulted space with views of the vineyards and the cellars with barrels.
